The role
We're casting a female Krio voice to record short Krio stories, a couple of minutes each. You record on your own schedule within agreed deadlines, from home or a studio you already use.
What we're looking for
- A native Krio speaker with a clear, warm reading voice.
- Comfortable reading Krio in the standard spelling (ɔ, ɛ) — the audition below shows you what that looks like.
- Reliable on WhatsApp and able to keep to deadlines.
What you need
- A laptop with Google Chrome.
- A USB headset or USB microphone — or access to a studio.
- A quiet room.
How it works
- Apply here with a short recording. It takes about five minutes.
- Shortlisted voices get a test story to record with our simple recording tool. No internet is needed while you record.
- Pilot of 10 short stories, then regular batches. Terms are set out in a written agreement, signed online, before any paid work starts.
We never ask applicants for money. Not for registration, equipment or anything else.

What we collect: your name, WhatsApp number, town, the answers on this form and your audition recording.
Why: to assess your application for this voice recording role and to contact you about it. Nothing else.
Where: stored on Supabase servers in the EU (Ireland), reachable only by the project reviewer. Not shared with anyone else.
How long: if you're not shortlisted, your application and recording are deleted within 6 months. Shortlisted applicants' details are kept while we work together.
Your rights: you can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted, at any time by emailing founder@bridge.stream or replying to the WhatsApp message that contacts you.
By applying you confirm you're 18 or over and agree to your recording being used to assess your application.
